General Information

As winter comes to an end and the fresh spring season beings, what better way to celebrate than to attend In the Soil's Homegrown Arts Festival!  Come out and celebrate Niagara's artisans and performers through the well-crafted seven-day cultural festival and enjoy all Niagara has to offer.

Whether you are interested in music, films, dance or visual arts, there is something for everyone that will be entertaining and enjoyable.  In the Soil was founded by a collection of local artist companies as a branch from a similar festival, Niagara Weave.

Cultural

In efforts to promote Niagara's cultural and artistic value, In the Soil has made it possible for artists all over the region to come together as one.  The partnership between Brock University and the downtown St. Catharines have successfully created a "one of a kind" multi-discplinary arts festival.  Other partners include the Centre for the Arts, St. Catharines & Area Arts Council, Suitcase in Point Theatre Company, Pulse Niagara, the Niagara Artists Centre, and Yummy Recordings.  Each year more and more artists are participating in the festival and illustrating the successful talent Niagara supports.
