Lookout Trail - Beamer Memorial Conservation Area

 

General Information

The Lookout Trail takes visitors from the parking lot off of Quarry Road to two lookout points on the north tip of the escarpment and follows the Bruce Trail along the west cliff of the Forty Mile Creek Valley.  The trail allows visitors a great view of this interesting feature often home to birds of prey such as hawks and falcons.

Ecological

Located on the Niagara Escarpment, this site features interesting flora and fauna communities and is a significant area for water discharge of the 40 Mile Creek.� It is also an excellent site for observing birds of prey in the spring, and has great views of the 40 Mile Creek Valley.
